In Memoriam
Throughout QCW’s more than fifty years of existence there have been hundreds, if not thousands, of volunteers committed to giving back to the sport of bicycle racing by taking on the role of managing an entire event as the Event Director, serving on QCW’s board of directors, or simply showing up at an event and serving as a corner marshal. All of these individuals have contributed in some way to the success of an organization which has provided nearly four thousand event days for local racers since 1972.
Here are the stories of just of few of those individuals who gave so generously of their time to keep Queen City Wheels running successfully:
