June 8 report by Patrick McMullen:
With temperatures in the mid-60’s and virtually no wind, course conditions could not have been better.  This was evident as no less than 14 of the 16 riders turned in personal best times for this event.  Complete results are attached.

Scott Catanzaro was obviously not content with setting the course record last month.  He knocked another 1:19 off his own record with an average speed in excess of 28.2 mph!  An absolutely incredible performance!  The following individuals also turned in Personal Best Times this morning:
Sean Davidson, Collin Wayne, Rodney Roof, Todd Williams, Nate Maxson, Brad Deaton, Dale Eads, Tom Price, Garrett Gover, Dan Cavins, Jim Voit, Ross Bowman, Karen Rokich.

Congratulations to all.  This was the final Saturday TT event for 2013.  We are already planning a similar series for 2014.  In the meantime, we look forward to seeing everyone at the (much easier!) Tuesday Night Cleves Series which continues through September.

Special thanks to John Fischer who helped officiate this morning.  He was particularly helpful in capturing the correct finishing sequence of five riders that all finished within six seconds.  Whew!

April 14 report by Patrick McMullen:
Although temps were in the low 40’s, the bright sun (and strong winds!) brought out ten strong riders this morning to compete in the first of three scheduled 33k monthly events.

May 12 report by Patrick McMullen:
This morning’s 33K Time Trial in Cleves (see attached) produced some outstanding achievements by a number of individuals.  First and foremost, I am pleased to announce that we have a new course record!  Scott Catanzaro turned in an incredible 44:51 to set a new standard for this event.

We would also like to recognize an absolutely extraordinary performance turned in by John Murdock Jr.  This 16 year old Junior was able to cover the course in an unbelievable time of 45:25, an improvement of 3:11 over his previous personal best.  With that time, he now holds the distinction of having achieved the third fastest time on this circuit for any age group.  He will be attending an upcoming USAC training camp in Arizona as part of his preparation to compete in a number of national events later in the year.

In addition, personal bests were turned in by the following:
Scott Catanzaro, John Murdock Jr., Collin Wayne, Jason Karew, Todd Williams, Jon Conte, Ross Bowman
Karen Rokich

Congratulations to all!  Looking forward to seeing everyone for our last 33K event of the year which is scheduled for Saturday, June 8.
