Race Format

This race is different from a traditional criterium where the first rider across the line wins. Ault Park is a points race and the person with the most points at the end wins the race that night. At the end of the series, the most cumulative points wins the series.

The way the race works is that every 5 laps the first 4 across the line get points.

  1. 5 points for 1st
  2. 3 for 2nd
  3. 2 for 3rd
  4. 1 for 4th
There are double points for the middle (10th lap for 20k and 20th lap for 40k) and the final lap. If you lap the field, you get 20 points in addition to any accumulated sprint points.
